Sheila Halterman, Vice President, Senior Account Executive, National Agency Division, First American Title Insurance Company

Sheila Halterman is Vice President, Senior Account Executive for the National Agency Division of First American Title Insurance Company.  A knowledgeable and customer-focused title professional with over 35 years of experience,  Sheila’s responsibilities include building and strengthening national agency relationships, providing agents with the tools and services necessary for growth and continued success, and supporting agents in their day-to-day title operations. She has an excellent reputation in the industry and the scope of her ability to offer assistance is exceeded only by her willingness to be helpful.

Prior to joining the National Agency Division in 2005, Sheila served as Virginia State Manager for United General Title Insurance Company, which was subsequently acquired by First American. Her background includes commercial and residential underwriting, closing and escrow services, and serving as Northern Virginia Commercial Manager and as agency sales representative for two national underwriters. Sheila has received numerous accolades and sales awards over her career and received the prestigious DPK Circle of Excellence Award in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018  in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the growth of the First American Title.

Sheila attended Northern Virginia  Community College with a concentration in real estate-related courses, received her Real Estate Appraisal Certification, and attends multi-state continuing education classes to improve her skills and increase her knowledge of current trends and issues in the industry.
